Launched as the 100th Thusong Service Centre on 7 June 2008, by the former President Mr Thabo Mbeki, seven months down the line, Inhlazuka Thusong Centre’s achievements are apparent among the surrounding communities.

The services that are rendered at the centre include, among other things, pension payouts and several entrepreneurial activities.

The Thusong Service Centres are at the helm of transforming people’s lives for the better through integrated information and service delivery in line with the Government’s Programme of Action. The latter also presents a more accessible and visible government providing information and services with a “human face” through:

  • Information and Communications Technology
  • communal needs services. All services are rendered under one roof, which results in the reduction of commuting cost and time. Communities are also empowered with information to better plan for their development and future.
