Government Outreach Programme

On the 3rd September 2007, a Government Outreach Programme was held at Mohakare Thusong Service Centre with the purpose of informing the community about the different services provided by departments at the Thusong Service Centre.

Department of Home Affairs' Community Imbizo

On the 15th September 2007 the Department of Home Affairs held a Community Imbizo at the Thusong Service Centre.

Training programmes

During the last six (6) months the following training programmes were held at Mohakare Thusong Service Centre:

• Welding training done by the Department of Labour
• Basic Business Skills training done by SEDA
• Beads training done by the Department of Labour
• Sewing training done by the Department of Labour
• Security classes done by Shibanto Security Services.
