Mbazwana Thusong service centre is a hub of services for all citizens who live in and around Mbazwana.  Mbazwana Thusong centre is housing a number of service providers who are responsive to the needs of its users.  This centre provides services to citizens coming from Umhlabuyalingana, Jozini and The Big 5 Hlabisa area.  It therefore spreads its services to more than 8 Traditional Authority Councils.

Services offered are from Home Affairs, SASSA, DSD, CWP, DRD&LR, DoL, GCIS, telecentre, Justice with court services.  The centre also has an office for Operation Sukuma Sakhe – to ease service delivery on issues received from communities on a daily basis.  This centre services more than 5400 people per month.  Within Home Affairs, the centre provides service for marriages.  Mr Caxton Mathenjwa presided over the marriage of clients who took their marriage certificate with them on the day.

Before the marriage could be solemnized, they had to undergo screening to check marital status, gender status, check if a divorcee is cleared on the system, as well as citizenship/nationality and other related matters. The Van Zyl family from Othungweni/ Qongwane under Inkosi Zikhali used the opportunity of getting married at this Thusong centre.  Mr Samuel Van Zyl & Mrs Yoland (Coetzer) Van Zyl got married at Mbazwana Thusong centre.  They were accompanied by witnesses to concur to their vows
