The Thusong Service Centre Programme convened its Annual National Inter-Sectoral Steering Committee (NISSC) meeting at Tshedimosetso House, Pretoria.
The meeting was attended by Thusong Service Centre managers, provincial chairpersons and the anchor departments, including the Department of Public Service and Administration, GOGTA, SAPS and Premiers offices.
The GCIS and DPSA, as custodian of the Thusong Programme embarked on a consultation process which is aimed at crafting the Thusong Improvement Programme Plan which will guide the crafting of the third Generation Business Plan and to further prepare for the upcoming Thusong Indaba.
The NISSC meeting was another platform were consultation and discussions were made, it provided an opportunity for interpersonal and direct engagement with Thusong Centre stakeholders and centre managers. Furthermore, the meeting reflected on the first Generation roll-out and its implementations and the second generation roll-out which is still underway.
The two day meeting concluded with recommendations made from each commission which will be conceptualize and be shared in the upcoming Thusong Indaba. The Indaba will pave a way for the third Generation Thusong Service Centre Business Plan.
