Mall activation for Tugela Ferry Thusong Services

LifeLine Zululand has rolled out the Cash plus Care Programme supported by Cindi, the Children in Distress Network.

Government Communication Information System within uMzinyathi district led by Mr. Thandinkosi Zulu together with Tugela Ferry Thusong Centre Manager Ms Dudu Molefe engaged community members and customers about the services and information rendered by the Thusong centre at their nearest point of service.

The Thusong marketing was conducted to a number of customers visited the shopping mall on Thursday, 02 August. More than 100 people received firsthand information from the GCIS led marketing stall and others were referred to the nearest government services for their queries.

This made a huge impact on many young people who were interested to do computer school since the marketing stall was joined by Ms Londiwe Khumalo from the National Computer College whose computer school is forming part of the Tugela Thusong Centre.
